Enroll at Rooney Ranch Elementary
Jeffco Public Schools enrollment system is called EnrollJeffco.
Check out www.enrolljeffco.org for information about this system that will help families plan ahead and enroll into the 2023-24 school year.
Important dates
- Starting December 2nd:
- Go to www.enrolljeffco.org enroll in your current or neighborhood school (K-12), or apply to another Jeffco school (choice enroll and preschool)
- Round One for Choice Enrollment goes from Dec. 2nd through January 9th.
- Offers will be sent via email to families notifying them of their lottery placement on January 20th. You will have three days to decide whether or not to accept the choice offer.
- Round Two for Choice Enrollment opens January 20th.
Kindergarten Registration
Registration for 2026-2027 Kindergarten classes begins Dec. 2nd through Enroll Jeffco.
Please attend our Informational Night on Thursday, Dec. 4th at 5:00-6:00 pm in the Rooney Ranch gymnasium.
Here is the registration process:
- Students must be 5 years old on or before October 1st of the year he or she is entering kindergarten.
- Visit Enroll Jeffco to begin the registration process for the 2026-2027 school year.
- If you would like to tour our school, please call our main office at 303-982-9620 to schedule.
- Tours are by appointment only on Tuesdays at 9:30 and Thursdays at 1:30 November 2025-February 2026.

Enrollment & Registration Information
Enroll for the 2026-27 School Year
Round 1 enrollment for the 2026-27 school year was open December 2-January 9. Families who enrolled during Round 1 of EnrollJeffco will receive their results on January 20. Families can also enroll for the 2026-27 school year during Round 2 enrollment, beginning January 15, 2026. All families, including those new to Jeffco and those returning to the same school, should complete enrollment.
Enrollment Timeline for the 2026-27 School Year
- December 2, 2025: Round 1 enrollment for the 2026-27 school year opens
- January 9, 2026: Round 1 enrollment window for the 2026-27 school year closes
- January 15, 2026: Round 2 enrollment for the 2026-27 school year opens
- January 20, 2026: Round 1 enrollment results sent to families
